A5038147 Diesel is a happy 4-year-old charcoal-gray-and-white male Pit Bull and Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix whose owners left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on June 1st because they moved and didn’t take him along. Weighing 53 lbs, Diesel is a cooperative and affectionate dog who likes to be close to his human--we suspect he has an advanced degree in cuddling! He shows signs of being housebroken and walks respectably on leash, and we see him as a great candidate for advanced obedience skills because he is very motivated by treats and praise. We noticed that Diesel may have some intermittent weakness or pain in his rear end, but the shelter has not yet reexamined him. Despite this issue, Diesel’s good nature and manners shone through. We think he is going to be an awesome best friend as an indoor companion in a committed home eager to make him part of everyday life.
