A5088381 Petunia is a graceful 1-year-old red-with-cream female Spaniel and Italian Greyhound mix puppy who arrived at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from El Monte on July 11th. Weighing 9 lbs, Petunia is as cute as can be with all the fresh-faced wonder of a puppy getting to know the world. She’s a little overwhelmed and frightened in the noisy environment at the shelter and hides out under her bed to escape it, but she came out of her shell and warmed up to her handler quickly. Petunia needs all her puppy basic training, including learning to walk on leash, and since she likes treats a lot she should be fun and easy to train. This little girl deserves a loving home where she’ll be an indoor pet whom everyone treats with gentleness and respect for her small size to help her grow into the wonderful companion she can and will be.
